Bio

Dr. Joseph Amato completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Temple University, specializing in privacy-preserving federated optimization for multi-agent collaborative systems. His research spans distributed control, and power systems with a focus on secure and efficient coordination among decentralized agents. His doctoral work was sponsored by the Department of the Navy, where he has been a full time engineer working on shipboard power systems since 2007.
